Secondary Outreach Tutor - HerefordshireLocation: HerefordshirePhase: Secondary / SEND / SEMH / EOTASWorking Arrangement: In-person - home and community basedQuantum Scholars are looking for compassionate, patient and experienced Secondary Outreach Tutors to provide personalised one-to-one educational and pastoral support to young people across Herefordshire.The role is suited to someone who is confident working with secondary-aged young people who may be unable to access mainstream education due to SEND, SEMH needs, anxiety, school avoidance, behavioural difficulties or other barriers to learning.As an Outreach Tutor, you will provide flexible, individualised support designed around the needs of each young person. This may include academic tuition, mentoring, confidence-building, emotional support and helping learners gradually re-engage with education.Sessions may take place within the young person''s home or an appropriate community setting, depending on the individual referral.This is an in-person role and is not online work.The role may involve:Providing personalised one-to-one tuition and mentoring to secondary-aged learners.Supporting young people with SEND and/or SEMH needs.Delivering EOTAS and Alternative Provision support where appropriate.Supporting core subjects including English, Maths and Science, depending on your subject specialism.Supporting learners across the secondary curriculum, including GCSE where appropriate.Adapting lessons and activities to meet ..... full job details .....
