We are currently looking for a dedicated and empathetic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) with experience in SEMH to join a dynamic team at a school in Oldham. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students who need extra support to thrive both academically and emotionally.As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs, ensuring they can fully engage with their learning while also supporting their emotional and behavioural development. You will work closely with teachers and other staff members to create a nurturing, structured environment where every student can succeed.Key Responsibilities:Provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEMH needs in and outside the classroomAssist in the delivery of personalized learning activities and support in achieving educational goalsHelp manage classroom behaviour using positive reinforcement strategiesSupport students with developing social and emotional skills, building resilience, and improving self-esteemWork with staff to implement Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs)Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents/carersEnsure
