Up to £70,000 + Car + Commission / Incentive TBD + 23 days Holidays + Pension

We are exclusively working with a market leader in the print and signage industry, one that specialises in a wide range of signage solutions—from vehicle graphics to exterior signage and bespoke interior installations. With a strong reputation built over 30+ years, its goal is to help clients stand out from the crowd through outstanding visual branding. Backed by solid financial investment and long-term strategic vision, the business is positioned to significantly expand its market presence and is committed to bringing in the right individuals to help drive that success. As Head of Sales, you’ll be a key member of the senior management team, responsible for leading and scaling the sales function to drive profitable, sustainable growth. You’ll create and implement sales strategies, mentor a high-performing team, and maintain strong relationships with key clients. This position reports directly to the Group Managing Director.

Responsibilities

Strategy and Planning

Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives

Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and new business opportunities

Collaborate with marketing and operations to align campaign messaging and service delivery

Team Leadership

Lead, manage and inspire the sales team to exceed individual and team targets

Set clear KPIs and sales targets; monitor and support performance improvements

Foster a high-performance culture through mentoring, coaching and team development

Business Development and Client Engagement

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders

Oversee large and strategic sales opportunities, ensuring a consultative approach

Represent FPL Signs at events, presentations and high-level meetings

Performance and Insight

Analyse sales data and generate regular reporting for senior leadership

Make data-driven decisions to refine processes, pricing, and approach

Track ROI on key initiatives and optimise sales funnel performance

Qualifications

10+ years experience in sales within the print and signage industry

Proven track record of leading successful B2B sales teams and delivering revenue growth

Strategic thinker with hands-on commercial acumen

Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities

Deep understanding of signage solutions, vehicle graphics, and display print

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Highly organised, results-oriented, and able to work at pace in a dynamic environment
