This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on design engineer who enjoys working on bespoke engineered products, complex mechanical assemblies and equipment that is manufactured in-house. The successful candidate will play a senior role within the engineering team, taking projects from initial concept and design through to manufacture, while working closely with production, customers and other technical stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce detailed 3D models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings.Take mechanical designs from initial concept through to manufacture.Design bespoke components, equipment and mechanical assemblies.Produce accurate 2D engineering and fabrication drawings.Carry out engineering calculations and support design verification.Ensure designs consider manufacturability, materials, tolerances and cost.Work closely with CNC machining, fabrication and manufacturing teams.Review existing designs and identify opportunities for improvement.Produce and maintain BOMs and associated technical documentation.Liaise with customers and suppliers on technical requirements.Provide technical support and guidance to ..... full job details .....
