The route can be based remotely or 1-2 days in office if preferred. Client Details Our client is a marketing-leading, blue-chip provider, of food manufacturing and service product with a world-wide presence. This food distribution business supplies quality ambient, chilled and frozen products across the UK. You will be joining a fast-paced environment (distributing B2B and B2C) in an existing logistics and manufacturing hub around 400k sq.ft. with circa 250 colleagues across warehousing and transport. Job Description As a Senior Transport Planner you will report in to the Logistics and Supply Chain Director on a daily basis. You will be responsible for the following areas for responsibility across the Slough office in Berkshire. However, you will be based either remotely or on a hybrid pattern of your choosing. Being part of a team responsible for planning up to 800 multi-drop routes per day on a Day 1 for Day 2 basis utilising planning TMS software (MaxOptra and Paragon) and manual planning within a mixed fleet of class 1, class 2 and temperature controlled vans.
