Grade A Recruitment is currently seeking a creative, enthusiastic and experienced Art Teacher or Art Instructor to join a mainstream secondary school in Peterborough from January 2027. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Art lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5 (up to A-Level), inspiring students to develop their creativity, practical skills and artistic knowledge. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons up to A-Level. Undertake full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking and assessment. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Support students in developing their artistic skills and confidence. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant experience teaching Art as an Instructor. Experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting, ideally up to A-Level. Confidence in undertaking full teaching duties. Strong classroom management and communication skills. A genuine passion for Art and inspiring young people.
