Proactive Perosnnel are seeking a reliable and proactive Procurement Officer to join our clients busy operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, acquiring, and managing goods, services, and materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and compliance. Responsibilities: Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their performance, and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve the best value for the organization. Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize sourcing, supplier selection, and cost savings. Work closely with internal departments such as finance, operations, production, and legal to align procurement activities with organizational needs. Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and ensure adequate stock while minimizing inventory costs. Liaise with manufacturing partners and suppliers regarding production, order status, and shipping schedules to ensure on-time delivery of goods.
