Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Public Sector based client to recruit for a Procurement Officer on an initial 2-year contract. The role:To assist in implementing the procurement strategy and plans, ensuring an effective fit with the company objectives and compliance with all relevant legislation. Key responsibilities:Determine best procurement route for a given requirement, considering options such as tendering, direct negotiation, frameworks, etc.Manage the end-to-end procurement of multiple categories. Ensure all the relevant procurement notices, are completed accordingly.Prepare and review tender documents for various competitive processes and frameworks. Utilise best practice procurement approaches and tools, depending on the type or service, value, and business needs Skills and experience:At least 5 years'' experience gained in an environment governed by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.Substantial experience with managing the end-to-end procurement processes.Substantial experience running procurements for works, services, and supplies across categories.Substantial experience with evaluating tender responses.Demonstrable experience with running tenders under existing UK public procurement regulations and framework agreements.Experience with formalising existing contractual relationships.Experience with the procurement of works and construction. 52216DHR2INDPROThe Portfolio Group are acting on behalf of our client in recruiting for this ..... full job details .....
