We''re looking for a proactive, people-focused Resident Engagement & Neighbourhood Lead to join our client based in South West London

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, building relationships and making a positive difference within local communities.

You''ll be at the heart of neighbourhood engagement, working closely with residents, understanding their concerns, helping resolve issues and ensuring people feel listened to and supported.

You don''t need to come from a housing background! We''re equally interested in people with transferable experience in customer service, community engagement, local government, property management, social care, complaints handling or any role where building relationships and supporting people has been central to your work.

What will you be doing?

  • Acting as a key point of contact for residents, providing support, guidance and assistance.
  • Building positive relationships with residents and local communities.
  • Listening to resident concerns, identifying solutions and helping resolve neighbourhood issues.
  • Supporting community engagement activities and encouraging resident involvement.
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to improve the resident experience.
  • Taking ownership of enquiries and ensuring residents receive a positive and timely response.
  • Helping create safe, welcoming and thriving neighbourhoods.

What are we looking for?

  • Someone who is naturally approachable, confident and enjoys engaging with people.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience dealing with customers, residents or members of the public.
  • The ability to manage challenging conversations and resolve issues professionally.
  • A proactive, solution-focused attitude with the confidence to take ownership.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A genuine interest in helping people and improving communities.

Housing experience is desirable but absolutely not essential. We welcome applications from candidates with transferable skills who can demonstrate strong people skills, empathy, resilience and a customer-focused approach.

Important: This is a fully office-based, Monday-Friday position, so we''re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working in an office environment and is happy with a consistent weekday routine.

Should your skills match the above please send through your updated CV across
