Production Operative

£13.10 per hour | Swadlincote | Monday to Friday | Two shifts available

Extra Recruitment are recruiting for a Production Operative on behalf of a manufacturing company based in Swadlincote.

This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity offering regular morning shifts, overtime availability and the opportunity to secure permanent employment.

You'll be working in a manufacturing environment, operating production machinery, using hand tools and supporting daily production activities.

Job Details

• Pay: £13.10 per hour
• Location: Swadlincote
• Morning Shift - Monday - Friday 5:45am - 1:45pm
• Afternoon shift - Monday - Thursday (No Friday) - 2pm - 12am
• Contract: Full-time, temp to perm
• Overtime: Available
• Pay Frequency: Weekly

The Role

As a Production Operative, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating production machinery and equipment
• Working with robotic machinery
• Using hand tools to complete manufacturing tasks
• Working on a production line
• Handling and moving materials and products
• Carrying out general production and manufacturing duties

Essential Requirements

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
• Able to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting
• Willing to learn and operate production machinery
• Reliable with a good work ethic
• Able to commute to Swadlincote for a 5:45am start

Desirable Experience

• Previous production or manufacturing experience
• Experience operating machinery or using hand tools
• Previous experience working on a production line
