Continental Shift Operator / Counterbalance FLT Driver Darley Dale £20.37 per hour Continental 4-on/4-off Pattern Temp to PermThorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are recruiting for a Continental Shift Operator / Counterbalance FLT Driver to join a well-established industrial recycling operation in Darley Dale, Derbyshire.This is a varied, hands-on role within a busy battery recycling facility, combining Counterbalance FLT driving with battery sorting, auditing and general production duties.Please note: this is not a full-time FLT driving position. You will also be required to work along the production conveyor, sorting and auditing batteries as part of the recycling process.The Role Operating a B1 Counterbalance Forklift Truck when required to move materials around the site. Sorting batteries along the production conveyor. Auditing and inspecting batteries as part of the recycling process. Supporting production operations and maintaining the flow of materials. Carrying out general operational duties as required. Following site health and safety procedures at all times. Wearing the required PPE, including respiratory protection where necessary. What We''re Looking For A valid B1 Counterbalance FLT licence. Previous Counterbalance FLT driving experience. A reliable, hardworking and flexible approach. The ability to work in a hot, dusty and physically demanding industrial environment.
