Health and Safety Coordinator Location: Haverhill, CB9 Salary: 38,000 to 40,000 per annum, negotiable, DOE Hours: Full time, office based with occasional travel across the country The Role We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a motivated and well organised Health and Safety Coordinator to join their team and support their engineering and construction operations. Working closely with the Health and Safety Manager, you will play an important part in helping to maintain effective health and safety systems across the organisation. This is a varied role, combining administration, compliance, communication and practical health and safety support. The position will be primarily based at our client''s office in Haverhill, with occasional travel to sites and locations across the country. What You''ll Be Doing Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining and updating health and safety documentation, records and policies Supporting the preparation and review of risk assessments and method statements Keeping track of employee training, qualifications and certification Assisting with workplace inspections, audits and general compliance checks Following up on any corrective actions and ensuring these are completed within agreed timescales Providing day to day support to managers and employees on health and safety matters Liaising with contractors and other external parties when required Helping to ensure compliance with relevant health and safety ..... full job details .....
