I am currently working with a well-established construction and infrastructure business with a strong presence across the UK and a reputation for delivering complex projects across multiple sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a newly qualified Management Accountant with COINS experience to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant looking to develop their career within a commercial, project-focused environment.

Your new role
As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Producing monthly management accounts with analysis and commentary.
• Supporting month-end reporting, including journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances.
• Working closely with operational teams to support project performance reporting.
• Analysing project costs, revenues and profitability across multiple contracts.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning activities.
• Using COINS extensively for financial reporting and project accounting.
• Assisting with year-end audit requirements and statutory reporting.
• Providing financial insights to support business decision-making.
• Supporting continuous improvement of finance processes and controls.

What you''ll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), ideally with previous experience working within the construction, engineering or project-based sectors. You will have a background in management accounting and hands-on experience with the system COINS, which is essential.
