We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a busy and dynamic finance team on a temporary basis for a 6-month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Accounts Payable experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to broaden their experience within a supportive and collaborative finance function.

Based in London Bridge, this role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

As Accounts Assistant, your duties will include:

• Processing and administering company credit cards, including Expensify and HSBC accounts
• Performing bank reconciliations for the trading account
• Reviewing purchase orders and invoices within NetSuite
• Raising purchase orders for finance-related costs, utilities, and employee reimbursements
• Monitoring and managing the finance inbox
• Maintaining supplier records and setting up new suppliers
• Managing the approval matrix in collaboration with the IT team
• Carrying out supplier account reconciliations
• Producing and maintaining the Accounts Payable ageing report
• Supporting weekly payment runs
• Assisting with finance inductions and training activities
• Providing general support to the wider finance team

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous Accounts Payable experience
• Experience processing invoices
• Supplier reconciliation experience
• Bank reconciliation experience
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Experience using NetSuite (strong advantage but not essential)
• Previous experience within a retail environment
• Studying towards AAT, ACCA, CIMA or an Accountancy-related qualification - A Strong advantage
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills

• Competitive hourly rate of -16.00 - -16.48 per hour
