Internal Sales Representative
Purpose of the Role The Internal Sales Representative plays a central role in driving revenue growth through proactive customer engagement, sales support, and collaboration with external sales teams. Working within a well-established UK manufacturer of industrial chain products, the role involves identifying opportunities, nurturing customer relationships, and providing technically sound solutions to customers in engineering, OEM, and distribution sectors. Key Responsibilities 1. Lead Generation and Sales Development Generate and qualify new business leads via telephone, email, and digital outreach. Identify opportunities within target sectors (engineering, manufacturing, and distribution). Maintain and update customer data in the CRM system. 2. Customer Relationship Management Build, develop, and sustain strong relationships with both new and existing customers. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to enquiries and quotations. Proactively follow up on quotes and orders to maximise conversion rates. 3. Sales Support and Coordination Prepare quotations, proposals, and order documentation in line with customer requirements.
