Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for a PCB Technologist to support the development of electronic design and manufacturing capabilities within highly complex electronic sub-systems in the Defence and Security industry. This permanent role involves working from concept through to full production and beyond.Job RequirementsUnderstanding of PCB Design, Manufacture, and Assembly technologiesStrong communication skills for regular communication with stakeholdersSelf-motivated individual with a methodical and logical approachCommitted to achieving objectives on time and to a high professional standardFlexibility to travel to other locations, including internationallyKey ResponsibilitiesSupporting the development and evaluation of new processes and equipment at national and international levelsCollaborating with internal and external partners, including international travel as necessaryUnderstanding materials, characteristics, processes of circuit card assembly/printed circuit board manufactureAssessing PCB fabrication and circuit card assembly processes via lab work and collaboration with suppliers and manufacturing centresSupporting the adoption of agreed methodologies, including generating documented standards within teamsParticipating in failure analysis of circuit card assemblies at component and board levelsThis role involves working within the Electronics Engineering function to provide technical support service for internal programmes in the UK, and with non-UK
