Aspire People is working with a school in Worcestershire that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from January 2027.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and creative teacher to take on a maternity cover position until July 2027, teaching Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The school is looking for someone who can bring the subject to life, deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons, and inspire students to develop their knowledge and skills in food preparation, nutrition and healthy eating.

The Role
* Full-time Food Technology teaching position.
* Teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4.
* Maternity cover from January 2027 until July 2027.
* Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons.
* Preparing students for assessments and supporting their academic progress.
* Maintaining high standards of classroom management and student engagement.
* Promoting safe working practices within the food technology classroom and kitchen.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a teacher who:
* Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Has experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.
* Is confident delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4.
* Has strong subject knowledge covering food preparation, nutrition and food safety.
* Can deliver engaging practical lessons and manage a specialist classroom environment.
* Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Is enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about supporting students'' development.
