Are you an experienced Food Technology Teacher looking for work in Worcester?Winner Education are seeking a Food Technology Teacher for a Secondary School based in the Worcester area. This role is due to start from January and will be long term. You must have previous experience in delivering to KS3 and KS4 pupils. Roles and Responsibilities: Work alongside the Curriculum Lead to ensure the curriculum is up to date and meets the needs of the studentsBe the sole lead teacher for the department and lead all exam prep and data entryAdapt lessons to suit the needs of childrenCreate a stimulating learning environmentSupport KS3 and KS4 pupils in small class sizesConduct assessments and progress reports for individual pupilsEnsure pupils are meeting set targetsHost parents evening when requiredProduce interactive and engaging lesson plans to deliver to the leanersProvide additional support and booster sessions to pupils The successful Food Technology Teacher must: Support students with the transition of the next stage of their education or trainingHave previous experience working in a secondary school/alternative provisionHold a QTS or significant experience within teaching Food TechnologyDemonstrate excellent knowledge and understanding of the national curriculumHave strong resilience and patienceBe a great team-player and form good relationships within the school environmentGood classroom and behaviour management Why supply with Winner Education?
