Job Title: Contentious Probate Legal Director

Location: Reading

Salary: £75,000-£90,000+ DOE

PQE Level: 8+ PQE

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Full-time

My client is a leading Legal 500 firm seeking an experienced Contentious Probate Solicitor at the Legal Director level. The firm handles a wide range of wealth work for a client base of high-net-worth to ultra-HNW individuals. This is a rare opportunity to lead within an outstanding team with support to progress towards partnership.

In this role, you will:

Manage and oversee contentious probate matters, providing strategic guidance to clients.

Handle a diverse caseload, including will disputes, inheritance act claims, and contested estate administration.

Lead and mentor junior team members, ensuring excellent client service.

This position is ideal for an experienced contentious probate solicitor with 8+ years of relevant experience, seeking a role with a balanced caseload and autonomy to develop further.
