About the Position

• Job Title: Maths Teacher
• Location: Southampton, Hampshire
• Type: Full-Time, Permanent
• Start Date: January 2027 (or sooner if available)
• Salary: Competitive, based on experience and credentials

Key Duties

• Teach engaging Maths classes for Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan, deliver, and evaluate lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Help students succeed and foster a love of mathematics and problem-solving
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Maths department and wider school community
• Participate in extracurricular opportunities, such as math clubs and competitions

Preferred Candidate Qualities

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification
• Earned a degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject
• Previous experience teaching Maths at secondary school level
• Strong knowledge of the subject and current curriculum requirements
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills
• Ability to truly motivate and encourage students
• Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of every student
