The Role - Sports Teaching Assistant

A welcoming school in Hackney is seeking a proactive Sports Teaching Assistant to join their team. As a Sports TA, you will support PE lessons, assist with sports activities, and use physical activity as a tool to engage students who may struggle in the classroom.

You will work with students on a 1:1 and small group basis, supporting behaviour, encouraging participation, and helping pupils build confidence, teamwork, and resilience. The role may also involve supporting students with additional needs, including SEMH and behavioural challenges.

Strong communication skills, patience, and a positive attitude are essential for this role.
