As a Credit Control professional in Manchester, you will help keep the finance function organised by managing customer payment activity and maintaining clear account records, You will work closely with finance processes to help the business maintain accurate information and timely payment follow-up.

Description

• Chasing outstanding payments and reducing aged debt.
• Managing customer queries, disputes and payment plans.
• Reviewing credit limits and releasing orders on hold.
• Allocating cash, reconciling accounts and processing refunds.
• Producing aged debt and cash collection reports for management.
• Working closely with Sales, Customer Service and Operations to resolve issues and improve cash flow.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

• Experience of managing customer accounts and following up outstanding payments.
• Confidence reviewing invoices, balances and account information accurately.
• Ability to keep clear records of customer contact and agreed payment actions.
• Good attention to detail when updating finance records and checking account data.
• Ability to manage priorities and complete payment follow-up tasks in a timely way.
• Clear communication skills for discussing account queries with customers and colleagues.

Job Offer

• Interim Credit Control assignment in Manchester - 2-3 months.
• -30,000 to -33,000 salary dependent on the level of experience.
