The successful candidate must have experience working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor, rather than solely for Network Rail or a consultancy.Key Responsibilities Undertake and support Civils Design CRE duties across railway lineside civils and level crossing schemes. Review, coordinate and assure civils design deliverables in line with applicable railway standards and project requirements. Work closely with design teams, construction teams, project engineers and stakeholders to ensure designs are suitable for construction. Ensure design outputs meet required technical, quality and safety standards. Support design reviews, technical queries and resolution of engineering issues. Coordinate design interfaces and maintain appropriate design assurance records. Support timely delivery of design packages and safe project execution.Essential Requirements Proven experience in a Civils Design CRE role within the rail industry.
