You will focus on enabling growth and operational excellence across our gateway, onboarding, and portal experiences . You’ll work closely with engineering, onboarding, fraud, compliance, commercial, and scheme teams to deliver capability that supports enterprise clients like Accor as well as thousands of long-tail merchants across Europe.This is a hands-on product role with dual responsibilities:Product Ownership – you will own and evolve parts of our merchant enablement tooling and roadmap (e.g. onboarding workflows, MID provisioning, merchant self-service), ensuring what we build is aligned with customer needs and strategic outcomes.Delivery Partnering – you will act as the product-team interface to engineering and onboarding squads, helping shape and run delivery ceremonies, resolve blockers, and clarify requirements across multiple stakeholders.What you will do:Translate eCommerce strategy into executable backlog and user stories across onboarding, integration, and self-service tools.Own delivery rituals (standups, planning, demos, retros) and be the connective tissue between product vision and engineering execution .Map out merchant and operations journeys (MID setup, acquirer routing, APM provisioning, error resolution) and drive simplification through portal and API enhancements.Lead backlog grooming with a bias toward speed-to-value , and platform scalability .Collaborate with other product managers and owners across fraud, scheme compliance, APMs, billing, and portal to prioritise foundational capability.Support design and rollout of new portal features (e.g. onboarding flow management, refund visibility, DCC settings) and guide readiness for pilot merchant rollout.Analyse merchant onboarding performance, support load, fraud rejection causes, and other friction points – feeding insights into product prioritisation.Foster close relationships with tech leads and engineers to ensure clear requirements and smooth sprint delivery.Act as a subject matter expert for our eCommerce enablement stack, championing data-informed decision making

and delivery excellence .Who you are:5+ years experience as aProduct Owner, Business Analyst or Product Managerworking on merchant-focused or operational tooling in eCommerce or payments.Fluent in Agile practices and experienced working directly withengineering squadson API, UI, and backend feature delivery.Strong understanding ofpayment gateway integration, acquirer onboarding, and merchant portal requirements (e.g. MID setup, 3DS, DCC, scheme tokens).Experience withJIRA, Confluence, Figma, and other standard product tools.Comfortable working across geographies (CH, PT, ES, UK) with both technical and commercial teams.Familiarity withhospitality use cases, including property-based merchant hierarchies, legacy PMS connectivity (e.g. Oracle), and pay-by-link flows.Strategic mindset, with the ability to operate tactically — making trade-offs and clarifying ambiguity under pressure.A bias for action, strong stakeholder management skills, and a high ownership mentality.Experience working with PSPs, acquirers, or merchant onboarding platforms.Knowledge ofscheme compliance, APM integrations (e.g. Klarna, PayPal, TWINT), orfraud tool enablement.Experience supporting enterprise clients duringportal rollout or migration(e.g. Scandic, Evolta).Scrum Master or Product Owner certification (e.g. PSPO, CSPO).Why Planet:Planet is an equal opportunity employer where diversity is valued, and all employment is decided based on qualifications, merit, and business need.Come and grow your career in the most exciting, fast paced technology market, with a business that delivers feel-good connected commerce.
