Help clients target and deliver value through the digital transformation of their capital projects activities.Help shape, sell and deliver projects that create tangible value by designing future ways of working – operating models, business processes, and technology, whilst working closely with business and technology strategists and process owners.Develop enduring, trust-based relationships with people at all career levels, providing coaching and career development across the Industry X practice.Use data and analytics to drive decision making, implement new ways of working and change operational behaviours.Provide points of view on key industry challenges and trends, and present an impetus for change in an industry context.Support and lead (depending on scale of opportunity) the sales process from origination to successful closing (including offering fine tuning, solution shaping, proposal preparation, client presentations).Support client innovation workshops using a human-centered approach to solve problems and frame opportunities through collaboration and co-creation.The Person / Qualifications

The successful candidate will have good knowledge in one or more core Infrastructure and Capital Projects industries and will apply digital technologies combined with people, process and data to implement improvement programmes / projects within these. Target industries include:Transmission and Distribution, Utilities (water, power)Infrastructure and networks including road and railConstruction servicesCandidates should be willing to travel to domestic and international locations on occasion.We are looking for experience across a selection of the following skills:Experience of successful delivery of complex and ambitious projects from a professional programme and project management (client facing) perspective to time, cost and quality objectives.Experience of key project controls disciplines such as schedule, risk, change and cost management within large, complex infrastructure and capital projects.Consistent track record of delivering high value programme or portfolio management service to the client (or demonstrable transferrable skills and experience).Developing the business case and roadmap for clients’ transformation journeys.Work effectively as a supportive team member or a domain expert.Set yourself apart if you can demonstrate some of the areas below:Strong, validated capability in successful project, programme or portfolio management of complex schemes, especially during their development phase.Experience of project controls and dashboarding tools e.g. Oracle, Power BI, Tableau.An engineering or science qualification or suitable experience in lieu.Knowledge of different operating models (existing, new, emerging and hybrid).Knowledge of contracting types for capital projects (e.g. FIDIC, NEC, PW-CF1).Experience of large-scale delivery and organisational change management.Good client contacts and industry network is highly desirable.What’s in it for you
