Groundworks Site Manager Location: Wivelsfield, East Sussex Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Job Description We are currently seeking an experienced Groundworks Site Manager to oversee groundworks operations on a project in Wivelsfield. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and groundworks, with the ability to manage site teams, coordinate subcontractors and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the required standard. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organised Site Manager to join a busy construction team. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee all day-to-day groundworks operations on site. Supervise site operatives, subcontractors and plant. Ensure all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and project programmes. Maintain high standards of health and safety across the site. Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and regular safety inspections. Monitor progress and report any issues or delays to the project management team. Coordinate materials, plant and labour to ensure efficient site operations. Liaise with clients, engineers, quantity surveyors and other contractors. Ensure quality control and compliance with relevant construction regulations.
