We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate ASD Learning Support Assistant to join one of our welcoming schools in the Milton Keynes area. You will play a key role in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), helping them to reach their full potential both in and out of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with ASD across a range of learning environments
Help implement and support Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and positive behaviour strategies
Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning space where every student feels respected and understood
Work closely with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent, joined-up support
Track student progress and communicate outcomes with the wider support team
Promote independence, communication, and confidence among students with ASD

Requirements:

Previous experience supporting students with ASD is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of autism support strategies in educational settings
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
Relevant qualifications in education, SEN, or childcare are an advantage
