Head of Legal - Insolvency / Litigation focused - Birmingham HQ (3 days pw)

Salary up to -100,000 + bonus + profit share

Are you an experienced Insolvency Solicitor or General Litigator with insolvency experience and keen to make the move in-house? Head of Legal - Insolvency

Currently retained by a hugely entrepreneurial, nimble, fully funded investment boutique looking to bring in a Head of Legal to take full responsibility for the legal function, drive commercial results, own legal strategy and develop the people.

You will be responsible for leading negotiations, allocating work, securing commercial results, driving returns. The work flow, process, operational/people management will be yours to own, working closely with specialists and the investment committee.

As well as pipeline validation, you will also manage external counsel, mentor and develop the legal team, as well as identify process, tech improvement.

We are looking for a hugely pragmatic, commercially aware litigator (8+ years PQE) who enjoys autonomy and securing results.

Ideally you will have plenty of insolvency law experience and a track record of developing junior fee earners. Alternatively you may be a more general litigator who has had exposure to insolvency, director duty, ADR, mediation and settlement strategies and keen to use your experience in a very different environment to private practice.
