Start Date: After February Half TermContract: Long-term / PermanentHours: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated, skilled and compassionate SEN Primary Teacher to lead a small specialist base class. The successful teacher will deliver a highly personalised curriculum-drawing on both KS1/KS2 objectives and EYFS developmental stages-to meet the unique needs of each learner.You will be supported by two experienced Teaching Assistants, working together to create a nurturing, structured and engaging learning environment tailored to pupils with communication, sensory and developmental needs.This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher with experience in SEN, base-class or alternative curriculum settings who is looking for a long-term or permanent position.Key ResponsibilitiesLead teaching and learning within a specialist Year 1 base class of 10 pupils with ASD.Plan and deliver personalised, engaging and accessible lessons informed by individual EHCP outcomes.Integrate elements of EYFS provision for pupils working significantly below age-related expectations.Work collaboratively with two Teaching Assistants to ensure consistent, effective support across the class.Utilise SEN-specific approaches, including communication systems, sensory strategies, visual timetables and structured routines.Support non-verbal pupils through appropriate communication tools (e.g., PECs, gestures, AAC where applicable).Foster positive relationships with parents, carers and external profession
