KS2 SEN Teacher - Specialist SEMH SchoolLocation: StevenageSector: Education and TrainingSalary: £28,618 - £41,137 per annum (actual)Contract: Full-Time Permanent (Temp-to-Perm considered)This KS2 SEN Teacher opportunity would suit an experienced teacher or nurture practitioner who is passionate about supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs to re-engage with education, build emotional resilience, and achieve both academically and personally.The Role - KS2 SEN Teacher (Stevenage)As a KS2 SEN Teacher, you will:Deliver high-quality, nurture-based teaching to small groups and on a 1:1 basisSupport pupils with SEMH needs, focusing on emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategiesConsistently apply trauma-informed and attachment-aware approachesPlan and deliver personalised learning in line with individual EHCP outcomesWork collaboratively with SENCOs, pastoral teams, therapists, and external professionalsCreate a calm, structured, and predictable classroom environment where pupils feel safe and valuedYou will play a pivotal role in developing strong, trusting relationships that help pupils grow in confidence, self-regulation, and enthusiasm for learning.The Ideal Candidate Will:Hold QTS or QTLS (desirable), or have substantial experience within an SEN/SEMH settingHave proven experience supporting KS2 pupils with SEMH, trauma, or behavioural needsDemonstrate resilience, patience, and consistencyBe skilled in building positive, restorative relationsh
