Salary: Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience Overtime: Paid at 1.5x after 40 hours About the Role An established architectural metalwork and steel fabrication company is seeking experienced MIG/TIG Welder Fabricators to join its workshop team. The company specialises in manufacturing bespoke architectural and secondary structural steelwork, including staircases, balustrades, balconies, handrails, gates and structural steel components. Key Responsibilities MIG and TIG welding of mild steel and stainless steel. Fabricating bespoke metalwork from engineering and manufacturing drawings. Manufacturing staircases, handrails, balustrades, balconies and other architectural steelwork. Cutting, measuring, marking out and assembling steel components. Grinding, dressing and polishing welds to achieve a high-quality seamless finish. Working with different material thicknesses and fabrication requirements. Ensuring completed work meets dimensional and quality standards. Maintaining a safe and organised workshop. Occasional site work when required. Requirements Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator. Competent in both MIG and TIG welding. Experience working with mild steel and stainless steel. Ability to independently interpret fabrication drawings. Strong grinding, finishing and polishing skills. Experience using fabrication workshop machinery and hand tools. Excellent attention to detail and quality of workmanship.
