Electrical EstimatorLocation: East of EnglandSalary: 55,000 + BenefitsThe OpportunityA well-established Building Services contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join its growing pre-construction team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in securing a diverse range of projects across the commercial, healthcare, education, industrial and residential sectors.Working closely with the pre-construction and delivery teams, you will be responsible for producing accurate, competitive tenders while helping to identify opportunities, manage risk and support business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed electrical estimates and tender submissions.Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.Carry out material and labour take-offs.Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.Produce accurate cost plans and pricing schedules.Identify value engineering opportunities and alternative solutions.Attend site visits, tender meetings and client consultations as required.Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth project handover following contract award.Maintain accurate estimating records and pricing information.Support negotiations and tender clarifications when required.Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience as an Electrical Estimator within the Building Services or MandE sector.Strong technical understanding of electrical installations and construction methods.Ability to interpret technical drawings and ..... full job details .....
