Take the lead on high-value electrical bids and help shape winning tender strategies in a growing engineering business.Our Client has a requirement for a Senior Electrical Estimator, who will be required to work on a permanent basis in Burton upon Trent.Role Purpose Lead the preparation and delivery of high-quality electrical tenders and bids.Work closely with commercial and technical teams to develop competitive and innovative solutions.Support business growth through accurate estimating and effective bid management.Identify opportunities for value engineering and commercial improvement.Manage client relationships throughout the tendering process. Job Role Responsibilities Act as the main point of contact with clients throughout the bid process.Review tender drawings and prepare accurate quantity take-offs.Issue enquiries to the supply chain and assess returned quotations.Build detailed cost estimates using estimating software.Support value engineering and bid optimisation activities.Identify and manage commercial risk throughout the estimating process.Prepare and present bids for internal approval and client submission.Produce final tender documentation.Support contract reviews, negotiations and governance processes.Manage contract terms, warranties and obligations.Contribute to commercial strategy and margin improvement initiatives.
