This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional looking to join a supportive organisation in an ongoing temporary assignment with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.The successful candidate will have proven bookkeeping experience and be confident using Xero to manage financial records, reporting, and reconciliations.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping processesComplete weekly and monthly bank reconciliationsPrepare and submit quarterly VAT returns to HMRCManage sales ledger activities, including raising invoices, posting payments, and reporting on aged debtorsProcess purchase ledger transactions and supplier paymentsPrepare and maintain payroll information and pension contributionsProduce monthly Profit and Loss reports and balance sheetsPrepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecastsLiaise regularly with company leadership and external accountantsSupport month-end and year-end accounting processesUndertake additional finance and administrative duties as requiredAbout YouPrevious experience in a bookkeeping positionStrong working knowledge of Xero (essential)Experience preparing and submitting VAT returnsGood understanding of sales and purchase ledger ..... full job details .....
