Claims Team Leader (RDT504)ManchesterSalary: £30,000-£40,00012 month FTCInsurance company with ambitious growth plans looking for an experienced Claims Team Leader for their office in Manchester. The purpose of this role is to lead, develop and support the internal Claims team in dealing with claims in the most cost and time efficient manner, delivering excellent customer service and controlling indemnity spend. The Team Leader is responsible for the training and development of the Claims team, as well as planning and resourcing with the support of the Claims Manager. Key Roles and ResponsibilitiesAllocate the team''s work and monitor performance and delivery across the team.Responsibility for accurate reserving, control of indemnity spend, proactive claims management and excellent customer service on the claims book. Regularly assess claims resource and team structure, plan for future requirements and support the team''s recruitment activity.Communicate effectively with the claims team, ensuring they are clear on what is expected of them, and on important relevant matters, as well as listening and reacting to their needs.Provide internal and external stakeholders with required reports by agreed deadlines.Ensure all Claims Quality Audits, Peer Review and other Claims governance processes are completed, each month, with any actions flowing from these activities completed and recorded appropriately.
