We are seeking an organised, proactive and detail-oriented Freelance Document Controller to join our growing main contracting business, specialising in commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years'' hands-on experience using Viewpoint (4Projects) and a good understanding of document control procedures within the construction industry. Working closely with our project managers, site teams, commercial department, design consultants and subcontractors, you will be responsible for ensuring that all project documentation is accurately managed, distributed, tracked and maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain project documentation using Viewpoint (4Projects), ensuring accurate filing, tracking and distribution. Maintain drawing registers, document revisions and approval records, ensuring teams work from the latest information. Coordinate the issue and receipt of drawings, specifications and technical submissions between project teams, consultants and subcontractors. Track RFIs, design changes, approvals and outstanding information, ensuring timely responses. Support project managers and site teams with document control across multiple fit-out and refurbishment projects. Coordinate subcontractor documentation, material approvals and technical information.
