Right Now Group are recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant on behalf of our client, a well-established and highly respected business specialising in international courier, express freight and eCommerce handling at Heathrow Airport.Operating within the fast-paced air cargo industry, our client has been established for over 40 years and works alongside more than 30 international airlines, providing specialist import, export and express handling services.This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance department, supporting a high-volume operation where accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.The successful candidate will be confident working across purchase ledger, sales ledger, customer invoicing, reconciliations, credit control, payroll support and financial reporting.The role involves a combination of manual and system-driven financial processes, so strong Excel skills, experience handling high-volume invoicing and confidence working across multiple finance systems are particularly important.Our client is also moving towards Xero, so previous experience with this accounting software would be highly advantageous.Key responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant:Process and verify supplier invoices, purchase orders and supplier payments.Manage purchase ledger activities, supplier queries and payment runs.Handle high-volume customer invoicing, billing runs and ..... full job details .....
