Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a Tier 1 automotive supplier with their search for a Die Maintenance Technician.The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, modifying, and optimising injection moulding tooling to ensure maximum performance, efficiency, and product quality. Key Duties:Maintenance and Repairs: Perform reactive and planned maintenance on press and injection moulding tooling in a fast-paced production environment.Problem-Solving and Root Cause Analysis: Diagnose tooling failures and implement long-term corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet operational targets and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Welding and Fabrication: Carry out repairs involving MIG, TIG, and ARC welding as required.Workload Management: Prioritise and manage tasks efficiently, adapting to shifting production demands.Technical Leadership and Development: Share knowledge within the team, mentor apprentices, and contribute to skill development initiatives.Independent working: Operate autonomously during solo shifts, managing maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and making critical decisions to maintain tooling performance without direct supervision.Key Requirements: Proven experience in tooling maintenance within plastics, ideally within an injection moulding environment.Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills with a ..... full job details .....
