A Primary School in Redbridge, London are currently seeking an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school from October or November 2026 on a full time, long term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or someone looking to develop their career supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Location: Primary School Redbridge, London
Start Date: October or November 2026
Contract: Full Time, Long Term
Duration: Until at least July 2027
Salary: -92120 per day
Hours: Monday To Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm
The successful candidate will provide dedicated support to children with additional needs, helping them to access learning, develop their communication and social skills, and build confidence within the classroom.
As an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to children with additional needs.
- Support pupils with their learning, communication, social and emotional development.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual support strategies.
- Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Support children with their daily routines and development within the EYFS setting.
- Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
- Build strong and supportive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers where appropriate.
- Assist with classroom activities
- Excellent education and training
This Redbridge, London Primary School is looking for someone who is:
- Experienced working with children, ideally within an EYFS or primary school setting.
- Experienced or confident supporting children with SEN.
- Patient, nurturing and empathetic.
- Enthusiastic about helping children reach their full potential.
- Able to build positive relationships with young children.
- Calm and consistent when supporting children with additional needs.
- A strong team player who can work effectively alongside teachers and other support staff.
- Reliable, proactive and committed to a long-term role.
Applicants with strong relevant experience in education, childcare or SEN is desirable, although relevant qualifications or previous experience in education, childcare or SEN will also be considered
