Social Worker - Children in Care

Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Children in Care Social Worker to join the Children''s Services team at Buckinghamshire Council, based in Aylesbury.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner to support children and young people who are looked after, ensuring their needs are met and that they receive the best possible care and support.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of children and young people in care.
• Undertaking statutory visits, assessments and care planning.
• Completing pathway plans and supporting young people preparing for independence.
• Working closely with foster carers, families and multi-agency professionals.
• Attending Looked After Child (LAC) reviews, meetings and court proceedings where required.
• Ensuring children''s voices, wishes and feelings remain central to decision-making.
• Promoting positive outcomes, safeguarding and permanency for children.

Essential Requirements:

• Social Work degree or equivalent qualification.
• Current Social Work England registration.
• Minimum 3 years'' post-qualification experience working in Social Work roles within a UK English Local Authority.
• Previous experience within Children in Care / Looked After Children services.
• Strong knowledge of statutory childcare legislation and safeguarding procedures.
• Ability to manage a complex caseload independently.

Pay Rate: -3840 per hour (Umbrella)
