Then you found the right position for you!As a Data Management Vice President, within the Chief Data Office (CDO), you will be focused on delivering business impact through transformation of Data Quality management. You will be required to work with stakeholders across the Commercial and Investment Bank (CIB), other Line Of Businesses (LOBs) and Corporate Functions to ensure fit-for-purpose data, looking to leverage best practice across the industry and other J.P. Morgan business units. Implements and supports Data Quality (DQ) practices across the CIBPartners with operations, technology and product control organizations to document data quality controls across the data lineage for critical data flowsBuilds strong partnerships across CIB sub-LOBs and corporate functions to support data quality effortsProvides data quality advisory services on specific high-profile data issues/initiatives through focused project management and deep business analysisAccelerates data quality issue level root cause analysis and resolution through effective program governance, process/data mapping and data deep-divesQueries data-marts/data-stores to extract knowledge and actionable insights to identify root cause of issuesDiscusses and agree technical resolutions with technology teams to remediate DQ issuesLeverages productivity tools such as Alteryx and visualization tools such as Tableau/Qlikview to analyze large dataset to draw inferencesRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience in financial services with operations / data analytics / data management / project management/ business analysis backgroundStrong understanding of data governance, data quality, data lineage and metadata management conceptsExperience in working on projects and programs focused on data quality, data lineage, data control documentation and metadata managementExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Capacity to think laterally and convey an understanding of the big pictureProficiency in manipulating and analyzing large data sets in Excel (pivots, formulas, charts, etc.)Excellent communication, presentation (both oral and written) and influencing skills - candidate will be dealing with stakeholders of varying degrees of seniority across Corporate/Firmwide, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Technology teamsSelf-starter, able to work autonomously, with strong time management skills; efficient at multi-tasking and able to work under pressure to deliver multiple business demands on-time, to a high standardBasic understanding of the company''s business practices and familiarity with the company''s products and servicesPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience in a CDO or Data Quality organization within an investment bank or large financial services firmExperience in querying database/data stores for data analysisExperience in producing PowerPoint presentations for senior audiences
