Accounts Payable AssistantNorth London 16.96 per hour Temporary Contract Immediate StartVitae Financial Recruitment is working with an education trust in North London to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant to join its finance team on a temporary basis.This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on accounts payable experience who has previously used PS Financials (now IRIS Financials) and can hit the ground running in a busy finance environment.The RoleWorking within the finance team, you will support the day-to-day purchase ledger function, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and efficiently and supplier accounts are maintained.Key responsibilities will include:- Processing supplier invoices and matching them to purchase orders.- Checking invoices for accuracy, authorisation and correct coding.- Reconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepancies.- Responding to supplier queries and resolving invoice issues.- Supporting payment runs and maintaining accurate financial records.- Assisting the wider finance team with general finance administration as required.About YouTo be considered, you must have previous experience using PS Financials / IRIS Financials, alongside a solid understanding of accounts payable processes.You will also have:- Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role.- Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to processing financial information.- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a ..... full job details .....
