Site Services Engineer (Food Manufacturing)Hayes, London£40,000 This isn t a factory maintenance role where you ll just be changing lightbulbs and wondering what s for lunch by 10:15am.This is the backbone-of-the-operation kind of role.You''re the person keeping boilers, effluent systems, HVAC, and all the bits that people only notice when they stop working running smoothly. It s not glamorous. But it s essential. And weirdly satisfying if you''re into that sort of thing (I hope you are).You ll be fault-finding, maintaining, and improving systems across electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic kit all within a food manufacturing environment. So if you''ve worked with compressed air, steam, HVAC, cooling towers, or water systems, you''re in the right neighbourhood.You''ll need to be qualified in mechanical or electrical engineering (apprenticeship, NVQ, HND we''re not fussy about the format), and ideally, you ll have experience working on site services in an FMCG or food environment.Knowledge of CMMS, Health and Safety regs, and the ability to think quickly when things go sideways? Very handy.You ll be part of a small, hands-on team, but also capable of flying solo when needed. Oh and you ll be on call occasionally.
