Interim: Management AccountantLocation: Gloucestershire Contract: 3-month fixed-term contract Salary: £55,000 per annum (pro rata)Hours: Monday-Friday 8.30am-5pm - 4 days in officeThe RoleWe are looking for an experienced Interim Management Accountant to join a busy finance team within a fast-paced foodservice business. This is a three-month fixed-term contract, ideal for a hands-on accountant with FMCG, foodservice, wholesale or distribution experience who can quickly adapt and deliver accurate financial reporting to tight deadlines.Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will support the production of weekly and monthly management accounts, maintain financial controls and provide meaningful financial analysis to support operational and commercial decision-making.Key Responsibilities- Prepare monthly management accounts, including PandL, balance sheet, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.- Produce weekly flash PandL reports, including commentary on financial performance.- Analyse variances against budget, forecast and prior year, working with operational managers to understand performance.- Manage balance sheet reconciliations, stock accounting, fixed assets and lease accounting.- Oversee intercompany and inter-depot reconciliations, alongside customer and supplier rebate accounting.- Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting.- Provide financial analysis and commentary for management and board reporting.- Assist with payroll reconciliations, ..... full job details .....
