The Management Accountant''s responsibilities will cover:

• Prepare monthly management accounts to give stakeholders a clear view of financial performance.
• Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile key balance sheet accounts.
• Produce regular financial reports and explain key movements in income and costs.
• Support budget preparation and update forecasts using current financial information.
• Review expenditure and identify practical ways to improve cost control.
• Work with colleagues across the business to gather information for reporting and planning.
• Improve accounting processes to make reporting more accurate and efficient.
• Help maintain reliable financial data for the Accounting & Finance team.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Experience preparing management accounts and financial reports.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Ability to reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
• Confidence interpreting financial information and explaining key findings clearly.
• Good attention to detail when reviewing financial data and reports.
• Ability to manage priorities and deliver work to agreed deadlines.
