This is a permanent opportunity for a technically strong leader who enjoys developing people, owning delivery and turning business requirements into reliable production systems. The role Lead a squad of 6-10 engineers and data scientists, setting priorities and supporting their development. Own delivery from technical planning through to deployment and ongoing improvement. Contribute to architecture discussions and code reviews, helping the team make sound technical decisions. Work closely with Product Owners and operational stakeholders to translate business needs into engineering requirements. Support the delivery of AI, optimisation and simulation capabilities that improve operational efficiency. Drive engineering standards across testing, maintainability, deployment and monitoring. Recruit, coach and develop a high-performing team. What we''re looking for Strong software or data engineering experience, including a track record of leading engineering teams.
