An established specialist contractor within the passive fire protection sector is looking for a QA Inspector to join its technical and compliance team.This role would suit someone with a strong background in fire stopping and compartmentation who understands installation standards, quality assurance and compliance requirements.The RoleYou will be responsible for carrying out quality assurance checks across passive fire protection works, supporting site teams, reviewing installer competency and helping ensure installations meet manufacturer, certification and industry requirements.Responsibilities will include:Carrying out QA inspections on fire stopping and compartmentation worksIdentifying defects and non-compliant installationsSupporting FIRAS and wider certification requirementsReviewing installer competency and signing off improvement worksProviding technical support and guidance to operational teamsCarrying out pre-start and site auditsSupporting product and system selectionAssisting with OandM manuals and project documentationDelivering technical briefings and guidance to installation teamsLiaising with clients and internal teams around quality standardsMaintaining accurate records and compliance documentationThe CandidateIdeally, you will have:Experience within passive fire protectionA good understanding of fire stopping and compartmentation systemsPrevious QA, inspection, technical or supervisory experienceKnowledge of passive fire installation standards and ..... full job details .....
