Location: East Ham and Central London Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Job Type: Permanent or Consultant Experience: 2 3 Years PQE We are recruiting on behalf of an established multidisciplinary London law firm seeking a commercially minded Litigation Solicitor to join its growing Civil Litigation team. This opportunity would suit a solicitor with solid civil litigation experience and a strong background in Landlord and Tenant and housing-related disputes, who is comfortable managing their own caseload and developing client relationships. The position is available either as a permanent employed role or, for the right experienced solicitor with an established client base, on a consultant fee-sharing basis. The Role You will manage a varied civil litigation caseload with particular emphasis on: Landlord and Tenant disputes Possession proceedings Housing litigation Disrepair claims Property-related disputes Contractual and general civil disputes You will handle matters from initial instruction through to resolution, including preparing pleadings, witness statements and disclosure documentation, managing Court proceedings and liaising with Counsel where appropriate. The position also has a strong commercial element. You will be expected to build and maintain client relationships, generate new instructions and referrals and work towards agreed billing targets.
