We are seeking a SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Leatherhead, supporting pupils aged 4-11 on a 1:1 basis or in small group interventions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on making a real difference in children''s educational journeys-particularly those with ASD, social-emotional needs, or anxiety-related challenges. Key Responsibilities:Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN needsSupport emotional regulation and build resilience in pupilsPromote positive relationships and social skills developmentAssist in managing behaviour in a nurturing and proactive wayFoster pupils'' self-esteem, confidence, and independenceCollaborate with class teachers and the SENCo to plan and deliver tailored interventionsContribute to EHCP targets and regular pupil progress reviews What We''re Looking For:Minimum GCSE Grade 4 (C) or above in English and Maths (or equivalent) - essentialHLTA status (Level 4 or equivalent qualification or demonstrable skill level) - essentialExperience supporting pupils with autism, SEMH, or additional needs in a school settingA calm, patient, and empathetic approachRelevant
