Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Milk Education are working in partnership with a SEN school based in West Drayton who are seeking an experienced and motivated Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children. Key Responsibilities: Supporting classroom teachers in delivering high-quality lessons Assist teachers in delivering tailored educational plans for students with a variety of SEN. Manage challenging behavior effectively using proven techniques and strategies. Support students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to ensure they engage with the curriculum. Foster a positive learning environment that promotes the social and emotional development of students. Monitor student progress and contribute to regular assessments and reviews. Liaise with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students. Ideal Candidate: Proven experience working in a similar HLTA role. Excellent behavior management skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
